Capturing 8 months | Family Portrait Session

Capturing 8 months. Visiting with Nolan since his newborn session was a completely different experience, as you can image. We were shooting at a local pond, popular with the geese. Little Nolan was so intrigued with them, it was near impossible to get his attention.

We had to break out my little bell. That only worked once. Then mom and dad had to start breaking out the dance moves. What I love about these sessions is looking back on the images. You can never tell how chaotic the session really was!

I love this shot. This little trick never fails to bring lots of natural smiles and giggles.And sometimes the photographer has to get really silly for the smiles. That’s okay with me!Grass! It’s green and new and itchy!
