For as long as I can remember, my husband and I have spent a summer vacation in Dewey Beach, Delaware. First, as a dating couple, then married, now with kids. And always with the same friends. We have our routines–crab night, the boardwalk, happy hour on the beach until dark, photos in the lifeguard stand. The kids love it all, and so do the grown ups. Each year, the kids have become more comfortable in the ocean. Jumping waves, boogie boarding and just sitting on the edge letting the waves move them. That’s what this image is. The best part is the memories they are creating. Also fitting for this month’s quote….
