The Philadelphia Art Museum is such a great backdrop for a portrait session. There are so many nooks and textures – the steps, the lush grass and hedges, the rocks and flowers, the unusual sculpture, the city, the river… it’s endless. This family session lasted longer than usual because I wanted to get it all. Even walking from the museum back to their house we found great backdrops. That’s what makes shooting in the city so especially fun. Here are some of my favorites from our session.
