Family pictures by a lake | Marsh Creek Lake

I love finding beautiful locations to shoot – you can’t go wrong with family pictures by a lake. This adorable family introduced me to Marsh Creek Lake in Downingtown for our session. I’m embarrassed to admit I had never heard of it before, and it is only 40 minutes away! I can’t wait to go back with my own girls for a session. Plus, they have boats for rent, paddle boarding, fishing, and a waterpark!

This family session was also a bit of a maternity session. Mom is expecting number 2 in November. Hopefully, we’ll see a newborn session soon.How cute is he? I love this age – everything is new and exciting. There were a few people fishing near us who caught a couple fish. He was so intriqued.Ahh, innocent blue eyes. So sweet.

Do you remember the last two months of pregnancy? You’re feeling huge, uncomfortable, not attractive. These two were cracking jokes about something I couldn’t hear, but I’m pretty sure it had something to do with snuggling 😉
